Eligibility for Refunds
You may be eligible for a refund if:
- Your package was not delivered to the intended recipient.
- Your delivery was cancelled before dispatch.
- We failed to meet the agreed delivery timeline without prior notice.
- The service provided did not match the delivery instructions you submitted.
All refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of the delivery date or the expected delivery date for undelivered items.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are not offered for:
- Packages incorrectly labeled or packaged by the sender.
- Deliveries delayed due to circumstances beyond our control (weather, road closures, security checks, etc.).
- Wrong recipient details provided by the sender.
- Items prohibited by law or company policy.
Returns
A return may be initiated if:
- The recipient refuses the package.
- The package cannot be delivered due to inaccurate or incomplete delivery details.
- The sender instructs us to return the item before it is delivered.
Return delivery fees may apply unless the issue was caused by Hefty Deliveries.
Damaged or Tampered Packages
If a package arrives damaged, tampered with, or in any condition that raises concern:
- Report the issue to us immediately upon delivery.
- Provide photos or any supporting evidence where applicable.
- We will open an investigation and advise on whether a refund or return is applicable.
Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days.
Refunds may be issued via mobile money, bank transfer, or the original payment method used.
